John Dagys just !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! on his new website, sportscar365.net detailing what he believes to be the final USCR schedule. Not wasting anybody's time, it looks as though the horrifically awful Kansas roval may NOT be included. It seems that ALMS has an existing contract with VIR which is keeping it on the new series' schedule in 2014. Dagys also says that Long Beach will be a GT-only race and Detroit would be a prototype-only race, possibly the week of the Le Mans test day. This means that Corvette and Viper won't miss a USCR race date because they decided to compete in the greatest sportscar race in the world. However, it might also mean that prototype teams like Level 5 or ESM couldn't make the trip to France if they want to stay in the USCR championship hunt.

From the article:

UNCONFIRMED SCHEDULE

January 25-26 – Rolex 24 at Daytona (NAEC)
March 15 – Twelve Hours of Sebring (NAEC)
April 12 – Long Beach (GT Only)
May - Indianapolis Motor Speedway
May 31 – Detroit (Prototype Only)
June/July – Six Hours of The Glen (NAEC)
August – Road America
September – Circuit of The Americas
October – Petit Le Mans (NAEC)

That leaves one spot for the Baltimore street circuit, Mosport (Canadian Tire Motosports Park) or the Kansas roval. There have been reports for weeks that Mosport has signed a contract for the new series, so it seems as though CTMP is the best bet. Those of you that liked Baltimore, don't fret. You can still watch the IndyCars crash there.

Word is the Continental Tire series will be headlining on that date.

It's a tight fit for four classes of cars with a big car count. I'm hoping they do a few more split races in the coming years, LRP would be a good choice to bring only prototypes or GTs to.

You forgot the last two TBDs.

TBD – Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
TBD – Virginia International Raceway

Not bad, like I've said before. Heard rumors that Mosport is in, though also heard that Baltimore was still chatting with IMSA regarding the schedule. Hopefully if USCR doesn't go, either World Challenge or CTSCC take its place. I think the event went well with two open wheel and two sports car races.

Hoping to be able to say 'I told you so' to all the haters in a few days.

Not sure if Mid-Ohio would even have pit space for all the cars, I think they only have 33 boxes. The old IMSA series used to have to run splits at LRP as well. Hopefully in later years we can get split races at LRP and Mid-Ohio, love Mid-Ohio but really wasn't expecting it to have room on this schedule given how small pit lane is.
